Driftworks 4 Arm Kit for Nissan 200SX S14 - V2 Black

Summary

Description

The essential arms to get your Nissan handling the way it should. The Driftworks Nissan S14 & 20SX 4 Arm Kit comprises of:

2 x Tension Rods (choose from either standard or Geomaster versions) - allow for a wide range of caster adjustment – increasing and decreasing caster can alter turn-in aggression, mid-corner feel and ease of control

2 x Rear Camber Arms - these allow for a wide range of camber adjustment for altering grip levels, tyre wear and wheel fitment

2 x Rear Traction Rods - determine the amount of toe-in that is applied to the rear wheels under compression, altering traction levels

2 x Rear Toe Rods - determine the amount of rear toe-in that your car runs

Available with either Rod Ends or Poly Bushes

Please note:

Driftworks does not recommend installing a single arm when changing alignment arms from the OEM items.

Driftworks Polybush Rod Ends are designed to be used in conjunction with all three rear arms;

Camber Arm
Toe Arm
Traction Rod

It is possible to use a single adjustable arm on its own, but with a Polybush Rod End you can put the adjustable arm under extreme stress as the non adjustable arm pulls against it at maximum short length.

We have found that on a lowered car setting the Traction Rod 12-15mm longer than the OEM arm gives best results, depending on ride height you may need to lengthen it more. Users should be aware that when using a single arm on its own the arm must be set to an acceptable length where the other arms are not pulling it into misalignment.

As a rule of thumb, if the arm is really difficult to fit and mount up, it is probably set to the wrong length. This can cause premature wear in the Polybush holder itself.

If you have any doubts about the installation, please have these arms installed by a professional with experience of aftermarket suspension components or contact us at Shop@Driftworks.com and we can advise.

This kit includes:

Driftworks Front Tension Rods - allow you to accurately set the caster angle of the front suspension and dramatically improve steering response and feel. They eliminate all the play that the hugee liquid filled OEM bushes suffer from. Choose from either the standard Driftworks items or the kinked Geomaster items that allow for more steering angle on drift cars with wide wheels.

Driftworks Rear Camber Arms -  with spherical bearings allow you to accurately set your rear camber. A must for any lowered car as the standard eccentric bolt doesn't allow enough adjustment. Correct alignment is essential for any car, be it to reduce tyre wear or dial in the perfect geometry for a fast road, track or drift setup.

Driftworks Rear Traction Rods - replace the standard non-adjustable Nissan part. They are the final adjustable arm needed on Nissan rear suspension set up. Adjusting this arm's length decides how much toe is given to the rear wheel under suspension compression. They also eliminate another of the unwanted standard rubber bushes from the rear suspension setup, once again contributing towards that perfect handling car.

Driftworks Rear Toe Rods - allow you to determine the amount of rear toe-in that your car runs - when you first lower your car you'll usually find that the rear toe has increased quite dramatically, so you'll want to get that dialled out to ensure the car keeps driving as well as it should. On drift cars, rear toe can be adjusted to determine how "loose" the rear of the car feels, as well as increasing or decreasing forward traction.
