Driftworks rear upright and control arm bush
Description / Driftworks rear upright and control arm bush
The Driftworks rear upright poly bushes remove the slop associated with standard rubber bushes.
To fit all 200sx, Skyline and 300ZX.
The worn, old standard bushes are very soft, replacing them is a 'must-do' job.
Replace them with these polybushes for firm, consistant and predictable handling.
These are priced individually, please see below diagram for quantities required.
Green Dots - Rear lower arm bush. THIS LISTING IS NOT FOR THIS BUSH,
4 required when using standard lower arms. Can be purchased here on our store (S13/R32 only)!
Orange Dots - Upright and control arm bush.
10 required with all standard control arms.
6 required when used with a Driftworks Four Arm kit.
HICAS equiped cars require 2 less ‘upright and control arm’ bushes.
To fit the bushes first burn out the old rubber bush:
Then, remove the steel collar from inside the housing, this it most easily done by slotting with a saw, then bashing out:
Lubricate the Driftworks poly bush if needed, and push each half in from either side. Then push the steel insert into place.
*Pictures are of a rear lower arm, but the bush removal is exactly the same.
