The Nankang FT-9 Mud Terrain is designed to combat the harshest environments whether on boggy fields or crawling through rocky streams.
An interlocking shoulder block design helps grip and eject gravel/mud to increase maneuverability, and allow the vehicle to be navigated freely on rugged roads. Hook-shaped blocks increase gripping thrust on loose surfaces and the extended blocks on the tread shoulders also provide extra traction between rocks and screes. The prominent bar on the bottom of the grooves prevents stones getting lodged in the grooves and lodged stones are expelled by the flexible movement between the prominent bar and the groove wall.
Z-shaped zigzag grooves further help cut through the mud and adapt to all kinds of rugged roads.
