herrow! i couldnt stay away... no matter how fast i made the R32, i couldnt get the same enjoyment without going sideways and having it reckless.

the mk4 ended up with 550bhp in the end, build ground up and mapped by myself.

but yea anyway, it was a tough decision to sell up.. having spent an entire year building it, but it went and i set my sights on an e39 M5 in carbon black... something solid but not to pricey i found one in derby that fitted the bill.

totally stock, i fitted intakes, mapped it myself and made an exhaust for it. with some bc's and rotas it was ready to slide - you can read about the mods and that here - F6squared :: General :: Who's borrowed daddy's car?

but yea, guess these are more the pics you actually wanna see

probably not a whole heap - will delete the cats and fabricate a mani back exhaust for it and write a new tune to run it.

i'd like to go mafless and run stacks but there is abit of head scratching to be done before i can write a map for that.

for now just enjoy it - i was on the brink of selling it, but its too good of an all round car!

id like to whack in a hydro handbrake, but i also want to keep it all nice and subtle. afterall its still a 60k new super saloon

haha i have got one video, nothing major though - just got a suction cup for the GP, just testing out where to stick the bugger. will upload it later

made 420bhp but i think with the cats out and abit more time with it i can get more.

but i mean, 20bhp on 400 - you cant really feel it too much - its more eager to rev and the higher revlimit/speed limit taken off are the main pluses.

Cool, just wondered what it made compared to the BMW figure.

Only other thing I'd change would be the brakes, the stock ones are hopeless. What width and ET are the wheels?

    Nice car, keep us updated!

thanks fella! the brakes arnt toooo bad - they do shit themselves over 100mph and my front discs are warped to fuck now :(

all the bbk's are mega mega money - even stock replacement parts are pricey.

yea, 420 isnt bad considering he light mods, these cars are notoriously difficult to get any extra real power from without touching the internals though, or going to the expense of headers. but its quicker then i need it atm anyways :D

wheels are 18x10 offsets in single figures, front end has camber plates :D

its funny cos its debadged, people assume its a 530 with tailpipes haha, and you can have it wild then drive away from the spot as it nothing happened... nobody suspects a fairly stock bmw :smokin:

Range Rover sport Brembo's more or less bolt straight on with stock discs ;)

Really understated cars the M5, plenty fast though!
Get some manifolds! Will sound fruity :smokin:

lol no idea yet mat. im thinking keep it subtle - like just a high flake silver or something... i like the anominity of it not atall looking like a conventional drift car - nobody suspects it tbh.

the wheels are 2 black 2 chrome because i got the last 4 bmw 18x10s at rare rims before they went out of stock, and unluckily for me they were 3 chrome one bronze - having the choice i would have 4 chromies!

but i dont think i will be able to match the chrome so will probably end up painting them all

Why does every single car you own look hard as fucking NAILS?!

Looks so evil on the Rota's man. I've not actually seen a set of grid drifts on a car and them not suit it.
