Its just the climbing up i would hate... once i was up there maybe but the climbing on the bolts doesnt look to stable!
That is nuts. I love climbing but that's not even the same planet let alone league. Life insurance - decline. I recently did top of the rock and empire state as a Tourist. Just wandering onto the windy side of the buildings can get very cold very quickly and fuck me it's windy. Fategue must be bad, hammering your concentration, adrenalin pumping, I bet you have to be super fit to do it too, must have taken hours to get up there. Mucho respect for the people that maintain these structures and the people that built some of the worlds tallest buildings 80+ years ago with fuck all to keep them safe.
The fact hes free climbing that high up on a electrical conductor is scary!... and they get a lift to 1600 feet
Fuck that..... you'd never get me up there free climbing! Maybe using safety gear @ go slow rate but not without it!

I'd much prefer to free climb that without safety gear than go rock climbing on even a 60ft v. diff (v. diff is classed as "piece of piss crag") crag without gear. You have good hand and foot holds all the way up the tower, only thing that is dangerous about it is if for even a second your concentration lapses, that's when accidents happen. I guess it's a heights thing for some of you, which is fair enough (I hate the sea!). If you ever decide to climb anything, remember that the only thing that matters in the entire world when you're climbing is: your immediate surroundings, where your hands and feet go and the route ahead (or down if you're coming down). Everything else doesn't matter, because there isn't anything you can do about it, focus on your responsibilities! Would be mint to go up the tower for a jolly!
love climbing, dont mind heights.....BUT im always dropping spanners in the garage so bollox....my tool case would either be twice the size for replacements or id never get any thing done!!
