Hi guys does anyone know what the minimum clearance needed to get into and out of the brake pits in a northern ireland test centre is? Car is seriously low at the moment and im not sure if it will go in without bottoming out . Any help would be greatly appreciated C
Surely if you're car is really that low it'd just sit on the bodywork (the wheels would still be on the rollers though lol) you're probably best off just popping up there mate and trying it. If not, just go somewhere where they dont use rollers to test the brakes, my MOT just took it for a blast down the road lol
Cheers for the advice guys, Problem is the MOT in Northern Ireland is done at government run test centres (one per county) might just try and wind the coilovers up a touch and give it a go.
Shame in uk you can still request a test with a gyromabob thing that's what I have saves the bottoming out and and diff death
Dont think so but it is low to the point that if it did bottom out the bumper would probably be ripped off that and the guys at my local test centre are complete numptys and could well do quite a bit of damage to my beautiful new car in the process
