New season, any new teams?

    So with the new season almost here, I was wondering if there are any new teams to cheer for. Last year saw the Neuton Tyres team blast onto the scene, and Team Green/Falken have a makeover.

    Are there any new teams waiting to step into the spotlight? Or maybe new drivers for existing teams?

    I'm looking forward to seeing what Team Green Tagalongs (are they still called that|?) will look like. Obviously very interested in what Team Falken look like too, especially Polo's V35 Skyline.

    Is the Neuton Tyres team going to be big again this year? What will Mitto drive, now the S14 is dismantled.

    How about the Japspeed team? Who's in? Who's out? Did I see some Rally Cross driver in a JapSpeed car on a BDC licensing day?

    I'm sure the DriftWorks guys will be competing a lot this year, but Phil said something about picking and choosing which rounds to go to. Will Bon be driving this year? Has Dan Chapman really retired, or will be get a drive in seomb ody elses car?

    Low Brain Drifters, who's in this year? Are you flying any Aussies or Japs in, or are you planning on using some home grown talent? What cars are you running?

    Will we be seeing more of the Polish guys coming to showcase their skills this year? Some of the most entertaining driving last year came from those guys. So I'd like to see more.

    Any other new names in the pro drift level that we should watch out for?

    I can't wait to see how good the skill level has become this year. Come on people, share your plans for the season!!

    Its not actually the Neuton tyres team, it's "meinomai"

    Neuton were a sponsor.

    um... wait and see. Bizz turned pro, which is epic :) Otherwise, the team now has ties in Japan, de Nederlands, USA and Australia.

    I now feel dumber for reading that. Bizz turned pro? What does that mean, you don't mean Bizzle right? Ties in other countries? Seriously, I know less now than I did before. I am wearing my meinomai shirt today though, coincidentally.

    Anyway, I'll leave you to be enigmatic. But I'll still wave and cheer when you drive.

    The JDM Garage R324-59706 whatever its called, the one that was going to have the GT-R engine is being built for Chapman for this season IIRC.

    Mitto feeling as helpful as always :D lol

    By Bizz he means Ian Phillips.. drove a white R33 last year, totally awesome driver.

    Not a team thing but Sid will be back with full force this year :D you will not be able to miss his car lol

    Oh, OK. I didn't know he was called Bizz :confused:

    Great to see Sid back. Haven't seen him skid in a comp for ages. :wave:

    Definitely NOT tagalongs anymore. Tired of that label. :smash: gonna be making sure people don't refer to us like that this year as it's demeaning now as it was originally a joke or 2008 team event.. As polo didn't want team green 1/2 and wanted to be called 'founders' so we had to cone up with something else.

    Especially as team green got more points than falken last year. :p

    Three drivers this year rocking the team green monacre (not Inc falken lads obviously) but no ceffy this year as he's still mourning his loss from last year. 'Roger Cooling' returns after a disastrous 2010 with engine failure at round 1, and new recruit Christian Lewis who proved his worth in Portugal last year (his first ever event!).. Oh and me :wave: :)
