When your car insurance is £2k+ 11% is quite a lot But I can't see them being happy with the whole thrashing the car would get when drifting. Would they pay up if the died from damage that could theoretically have been caused by drifting it... hmmm doubt it.

try flexi bell i got some cheap quotes with them if its standard or sky insurance if its modified. i got insured with sky on a civic ek with a teg type r engine in it at 18 for sumot like 1500 and thats with no years no claims.

I need some help guys, sorry to drag up an old thread. So I bought a Skyline 3 months ago, and checked out insurance prices then.. I was given a price of £2300 which I thought was reasonable given my age (21). I go to insure it today, same details and all, 3.5 years driving, 2 years no claims, and the price comes out at £5000. I've tried Sky, Adrian Flux etc, all of whom said they wont quote me. Any pointers out there or shall I just sell up and shut up?
The coop are fantastic! Yes im a named driver but is it worth it considering I can get the insurance on my 1.8 sierra for £120 a month and then still only £160 a month with a 2.9/24 cossie engine in? (needed too ring about the mod quote, they don't do them online). EDIT: Forgot too mention... Thats with me being 18 year old.
