    360 T5-R Drift build & Daily drifter - 2 door 360

    Hi. ( THE DRIFT BUILD STARTS AT p.10 )

    Thought maybe it could be some interests of my 360 project here.
    Have purchased a completely original 85 mod 360 from an old man. Should be in very good condition.
    3 door. Very rare car to see around here!

    Have not very specific plans really..

    but something must be done:
    It should be lighter, more hp, lower, get some cool rims. Get a tougher look and bigger exhaust .. :D

    It stopped about 150 times on the way home, did not know what was wrong .. Several stops inside the tunnels, not cool :confused:

    Love 360s, great cars, had a few myself.

    The only reliability problems I had was with the carb fuelled one, the same as yours (the other 2 were injection), but only minor.

    I had a split pipe that goes to the mechanical engine driven fuel pump, so it was sucking mostly air and not much fuel, making it either run badly or not at all, and also had worn out ignition leads which made it run like crap when hot, and you'd be electrocuted by touching them with the engine on!

    cool ! Can't wait to get this running sideways :wack:

    there's something with the gasoline supply. I can see that there are lots of air along with the fuel being sucked into the pump.
    I need to check the filter in the tank :rolleyes:

    my ignition wires are luckily fine :D

    Has been a bit of shopping now. Sports muffler, mirror-tint, new speakers to the doors and tweeters to the dash, "racing" pedals, new LED display indicators, etc. .. :p

    Got a spoiler when I bought the car, I can post pictures where it is mounted too.

    Sounds like my one, was holes in the line in the enginebay, before the engine driven pump.

    oh. it was the filter in the tank. it was completely clogged. replaced the filter on the hose after the pump too. Now it goes like a rocket! :wack: Fun
