Sorry of this is a re-post but it looks like its only just been uploaded (to youtube anyway) and all i could say was OHHH MYYY GOOOOD!!!!!!
Would it even be possible to spin with that shit? Am I the only one that thinks this is gay and would allow anyone's grandma to be a AMAZINGU DORIFTU KINGU
Spin or no spin when it comes to competing they'll suffer with the wrong line and angle anyway. Its good to have the option of that much lock. Dont forget the video is a showcase of that product so they want to show maximum lock. The lock isnt far off what Thomas666 gets with his S14, and everyone spunked themselves over that I've got the competetive kit to this one - Steering Angle Kit. The Wisefab unit extends track width by about 4 inches each side so you'd need big arches. Its made by an Estonian so i have to support it as my GF is from there It isn't cheap though.
Yes, i find it amazing that wheels turn that much... But... It´s starting to look ridiculous and it also helps alot with driving errors , and not all about great driving skills. Someday it will be invented an anti-spining kit , and it will also help even more those drivers...
From what iv seen, mega lock = mega slow in competitions, hacking round a track and for photos amazing. Just widening the track makes such a massive difference too,
If you're a REAL man you lock your wheels in a the straight ahead position at all times. Then remove the rack to save weight and drift the whole track fully sideways in 5th just using the pedals and the wand
but he's running really thin front wheels which will allow him to have more lock before he starts hittings things in the arch anyway
It looks fairly well fabricated, and it gives you massive lock. as i can see it you can use the über lock to save you from spinning in big ass entries.. but try to use all that lock on your leadlap in a twinbattle... and you will find yourself driving 2km/t with the chasecar in your passenger seat.. another thing that look strange in that kit, is that you have to ditch the anti roll bar... so I bet it will understeer to death unless you flick it in on the wand...
The wisefab kit comes with a topmount wich indeed relocates your coilover more to the outside. Downside is that you'll have to adjust your camber correct before installing it....
never understood why you would want to adjust your roll centre at the front and not worry about the rear... plus I could get this lock with DW geo's I would of thought... if I was to run a silly 7j with a 215 tyre...
