An glad someone got those wheels. I wanted to see what they look like as I'm going to get them for my s13 in 18s when I can afford it, after the SR20 conversion is paid for anyway.

They look awesome for the money. I couldn't give a toss if they were real splits either as I don't spend my evenings taking my wheels to bits all the time.
Just want some sexy looking wheels for the car to roll on when it's not having the crap raped out of it lol. They fit the bill perfectly. :).

Mike@TDSW has been running the same wheels for a while now so they do last as well. Value for money you cant go wrong. The only problem im having now is finding other decent 17x10 wheels to run on the back :)

Why do u need more 10x17.. For skid wheels?

I just found some as close spec to my VIPs and added a small spacer for skids..

Tbh the prices people ask for shitty old sets of 10js it's as cheap just to buy some more of them.
I wanted to grab some of the 16x9s for skids too. Cheaper and easier for tyre pile diving.

Wheels were from R-tec but BM Autosport hold good stock as well.

Latest update is that the manifold is almost finished. It's a RHD top mount converted to bottom mount.

    Decided on a HX30 with 12cm housing.

A few of the early manifold pics:-

    and with turbo

Also my Delrin LCA bushes arrived from Sean at SLR along with different studs to allow me to run the 15 inch wheels with my Steering Angle Kit if needed.

More updates to follow but at the moment its balls out till Licensing day. First time i drive it will hopefully be at Silverstone

Opted for a Helix clutch and DW flywheel to help put the power down

That's a HX35. And good job too as a HX30 would be too small IMO.

How comes you decided to change it to bottom mount? Holset wouldn't fit up top?

Its so so tight that when you add in the air filter there is no room unless you move stuff around.

Bottom mount also allows easier access to the intercooler. The only downside is that there isnt much gravity for the oil drain.

Stav final turbo will be a HX30 with a 12cm housing. Might have the option to change up to the 35 which i would prefer.

Fairynuff, jus the one in the pic is a 35.

Make sure you run a turbo hanger if you want that manifold to last more than 7sec without snapping.

And make sure you port the wastegate hole (presume internal gate as cant see a wastegate) and ideally modify/space the backplate to stop the flapper hitting it so soon on the HX30 or it will overboost like a mofo.

Stav, Manifold will be braced properly to ensure it doesnt crack/snap and allow for expansion.

Will be running an external wastegate with screamer pipe.
