    ************ SOLD ************

I'm selling a staggered set of 8 series BBS style 5s to fund sand blasting equipment. These are the best width and offset style 5s you can get.

The fronts are RC009 8Jx17 ET10 and the rears are RC010 9Jx17 Et19. The front tyres are Michelin Pilots in 235/45/17 with 4mm, and the rears are Michelin Pilots in 265/40/17 with 2-3mm tread left.

The wheels are in great condition compared to most sets you see. They have some scratches on the dishes and some curbing, which has resulted in the lacquer coming away. This shouldn't matter as hopefully you'll be removing the lacquer and polishing them anyway. One of the centres has a chip, which is a shame, but other than these points they are in great condition. Even the bolts are in good useable condition!

The centre caps are included, and although the stickers need replacing, the actual centre caps are in pretty good condition.

I've also added a picture of how they transform an old E34.

PRICE DROPPED 28/03/2012 as I really want to move on to my next peoject

The price is £530. I can't find a better condition set for sale for less than £600 let alone £530. If you want to pay through PayPal either send it as a gift or add £20. I will consider a p/x against some other BMW wheels up to the value of £100, but they have to be something I can sell on easily.

I can post worldwide. Mainland UK (excl. highlands etc) is £40, other areas will be quoted individually. Otherwise, collect from Bedford/Milton Keynes area.

I have plenty of pics, just ask for specific areas you want me to show you.

I took some in different light to show the condition.

I've added a link to my eBay listing with lots more pictures from after I gave them a wash.

Open to p/x on a seat, wheels, or tyres up to the value of £150-£200.

Hardly any interest apart from a few low ball offers.

The price reflects the condition, but it's by no means set in stone.

I will be getting the tyres removed in the next few days and polishing the outers.

If you get an engineering firm to enlarge the centre bore, then yes!

From previous experience that would cost around £30

    Sorry dude. I've already got 6 E38 16" style 5s, plus 5 E39 16" style 5s.

Perfect. Obviously you'll need smaller tyres than a 235 and 265 though :wack:

something like this - although they are the weaker offset E39 ones in the link

So these will fit a e46? And what would the tyre stretch be like? :D

If these are still knocking about after my holiday in a weeks time I'll have full cash and have these off you! :D

Buy these and sell the X5 wheels :)

The wheels in the link below are the same size, just a higher offset (ET26 instead of ET19), and on an E36. E46's have a tiny bit more room from what I hear. The tyre sizes you need to run are 205/40/17 front and 215/45/15 rear... It just happens that those are the cheapest sizes to get 17s in too :)

I could swap the x5 wheels but I wouldn't want to sell mine and be left with nothing. Or I could swap my mv1 alloys plus £100?

Sorry, no swaps. Ideally I'd only p/x for a set of wheels up to the value £100. I don't really think the MV1s are worth £400 unless they're in excellent condition and have brand new tyres all round.

Sorry dude I read the price as £350 not £530! My mistake. To be honest I'd probably swap the mv1's and the x5 wheels.
