Working on my custom cage to incorporate the back seats, so it still stays as standard-ish as possible with some added safety features. In primer at the mo, will be painted black. By cochyn at 2012-03-25 By cochyn at 2012-03-25 Car isn't really moving much now till Gatebil, prepare it more than anything. Sticky worked his magic with some neat little road trip stickers for the quarter windows Thanks buddy
Love it, Theres one that goes to knockhill (not sure of the guys name) but it's insanely fast. Usually four wheel drifting round the hair pin with flames firing out the side exit. He did the drag racing competition for fun and managed to stall it everytime and beat evos everytime
@ Ness That's Charlie Shaw and Andrew Gallacher. Proper mad heads ***UPDATE**** Well the cage is finished and looks great IMO, big difference in the corners. Can't wait to see the difference on track. Just needs some false flooring and carpeting between the fuel tank and the front carpet and it'll be sound. Here's a few pics from Monday's developments.... Seats out ready... By cochyn at 2012-04-03 Decided on keeping the back seats out, because it looks so damn good! But for whatever reason, I just didn't focus on where the jack was and the fact it was slipping. It ended up falling on the front half of the sump, bending it like a banana! So the whole front end needed to be removed to get the sump off that night. Luckily it had only bent and not crushed any of the crank or anything drastic. So I drove back to Wales this morning to pick up a spare sump off my good friend John Coles, dropped it off at a lad who does alloy welding and he welded the old breather sump boss off my old sump. Then it was a case of finding a gasket, which seem to be like gold dust around here Anyways, by 6pm today it was running and back to normal....mad 2 days!
Really like this.the yb looks like it's meant to be there. If you get a chance get some pictures up of the underside/running gear if you have any.
Awesome car, save the attitude though, who cares its the internet. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
I can do mate, and thanks much appreciated. I'm doing a few extra bits underneath it at the moment, so hopefully over the weekend I can post some decent pics. I have a new diff to fit as well and an adjustable beam, so will hopefully get some vids up
I actually dont understand whats being discussed here, DW appears to be sinking to a new low. Either way, its a cool car, and as for ............ he once won an argument with a picture of his old feller. You dont mess with this guy.
