it does fit haha but itl handle like a bag off potatoes! i had a 3.5litre alpina m30 engine in my last e30 and i was never quite happy with the handling. needed the bulkhead modding for that ideally to make it how i wanted it

Add two more wheels at the front, make it a 6 wheeler, doubt bdc rules cover that, plenty of grip, lol

Out of interest, why have BDC banned bulkhead mods?

Its not like its going to keep costs down to much and wont make any safety difference if dont right. Just seems like a rule which will stop good engineering. And we all know that you can win in any car in drifting.

6 wheeler drift car need to be done, get some serious lock haha.

surely most drift cars will end up 4cylinder or v8 wen they have limited engine bay space. it is a shame as the quirky builds wont be seen as much. i liked seeing rare engines in cars, the drifting scene is good for that

i think its to stop big budget teams building cars that average joe can never dream of beating. or to stop him having a go and building a deathtrap with his no-gas mig set.

from memory the tyrell was never that competitive due to the front tyres 'going off'. the idea was that the smaller front tyres were more aerodynamic. i think that one is in the coventry transport museum these days.

I can see the thought behind it but the beauty of drifting is that you can beat anyone in a mega spec car in any beater, AE86 style.

I think they should ban handbrakes not bulkhead mods and side exit exhausts.

i agree with u there mattyboi, personally i think they've banned them due to safety reasons, and surely not to stir things up? its a ball ache on my part , but thats life full of stupid rules lol.

as for six wheels, i think thats out equation haha....altho i would like to see someone build a six wheeled drift car

BDC & Drift cars in general have bigger problems than just moving a bulkhead safety wise every drift car I've been near has had a dangerously low level of workmanship.
