    What does that rev to? Sounds like about 20,000 rpm! :D

    Due to how rotarys work there's more power strokes per revolution than a 4stroke piston engine, so they always sound more than they are, like 2 strokes do, so combine that with 4 rotors and it sounds like 20k even though I dont think he even takes it to 10k.

    Stav they have always kept it a 7k max for fear of the e shaft failing I

    A 4 rotor lol

    His rx8 he used in Formula D in the US is 20B turbo, the FD has been quad rotor'd for a long time, but was originally 20b-pp'd.
