Also leaving this to the last min is not helpful, we need as much notice as you can give us so we can be prepared Those that want to change your own on site must also be prepared to blow them up too. Also forgot to add in that the plan is to have a couple of trade stands and an rc track laid out for the rc boys. This is currently unconfirmed though, i'll get it confirmed/denied tmw though.
Sweet cant wait for this, got my engine in today but not running yet. Good to see lydden is gonna have us there again this year
I dont think so, i stand by Will sure hes upfront n straight forward/blunt with people but i dont see that as a problem, some people just take it the wrong way. half of it is people attitude towards him though. What you read up top is coming from me not Will, He's fast, good at his job and was the only person that would stand with us at the start. CJ and Mint weren't interested to begin with but now we're up and running they want the business of course, People should remember that without Will there'd be no drifting at Lydden, be respectful to him and you'll get the same in return.
I am always but when he packs up and fucks off an hour before the end leaving at least three of us without rubber to get home on that's bang out of order man. That's what gave me the hump about him.
There was a reason for this but not something i can share on internet forum. We'll just say personal reasons that were unforseable.
Don't be taking a pop at me without expecting a reply, I don't think I have ever been approached officially about providing a service at Lydden and to be honest it should always be offered to a local company first. A tyre service is a must at any drift event and the one thing I do know is, It doesn't matter who's doing it as long as there is someone there. Your doing the right thing standing by Will, maybe your mistake is making excuses for him if something goes wrong. If something goes wrong at pod I'm to blame, I don't expect anyone else to carry the blame. Respect is a mutual thing but it has to be earned.
Not a pop at you or cj tyres. I approached you at pod when i first started drifting back in 2010. You said its too far for you to travel and you wouldnt be able to do dates that clashed with pod which is fair enough as its a mission from pod to dover I also dont make excuses i only deal in facts
Yer many have done there first day at lydden and there will be an instructor if you need a few pointers. We all started some where
