yea fair one but my ideas span as far as same set up ish less restrictive ie better piping, clean rocker covers out....... that's it. i wanna do something with this crankcase breather but to my understanding its impossible to with engine in ? that's what mine is like yet not as well set up nor do i have a filter
Yer i cleaned everything out when i built it, was amazed the amount of crap that was under the small plates in the cam covers, this is the thing which is the best setup??
Wheres the crank case breather go to in this setup? Not sure how you can get the crank case breather metal pipe out, maybe whip the starter motor out for better access you might be able to get to it then.
i don't know if im having a moment here crank case breather standard is literally from head not rocker cover to bendy thing to block correct ? if that's the case mine is no change i think but this one im not sure, have you took the metal pipe out the equation ? yea i might look into that i can see it being a f***er of a task doing that though haha
Yer i took the metal pipe out, but only because i used an oversized hose that was bigger than the diameter of said metal pipe, no other reason. When i had the metal pipe off it had no junk in it unlike the cam covers and the top breather pipes, they were full of crap. So might not be worth the ball ache of taking it off, having said that every engine is different. Starter motor is easy to get out if you've got a decent wobble attachment in your tool set if not its a pig
That advice is what im looking for there, i am defiantly guna clean cam covers seams a very good plan and sort setup out with catch can and other than that im guna leave the metal pipe until ive had a chance to test it and see if i get the problem again, how a bloody catch can can have such an effect on a engine seams critical cheers for all the help here i wished you could get a possible engines guna knock or blow up gauge to not cause this kind of worry hahah
also does any one know were you can get the turbo to down pipe bolts ? tried google but to know avail

Anyone after some Tomie PonCams with Pulllies, as i have a spare set. Also have a nice CA18 for sale genuine 81k miles originally from an auto. Both in the for sale section. Cheers Tony
Day I bought mine During a freshen up After Need to get some better pictures and actually clean the whole thing, move battery to the boot, abs delete and rust prevention.. Not bad for a 140k engine, runs like a trooper after sorting front crank seal, rear moons and a few water leaks
