See! There is method behind the madness! So today i treated her to a new camber bolt an fuel filter as the old one was looking extra crispy, plus my mate kindly sheared the old camber bolt during its removal... Old filter came off no problem Before and after, god only knows when it was last changed... Slightly different inlet and outlet piping but went on without a problem... Next up was the camber bolt, was only placed in the hole, no drama as the car hasnt moved... Fitted! Will need a full suspension setup once she is running Also got the other wing drilled and stitched up with the bumper, really digging the blue/pink colors atm
Sure is, few mates and work colleagues run the Trackday Drivers group there every few weeks. U been there?
Yea, friends with Alex, work with Paul. Did u go on with a black bmw a while back? Got moaned at for driftin? Lol
LOL No I don't think I ever took my old black bmw. It would have been red and I got told to light them up
Lol, fair does. Might see u at the next one if ur there... I'll be in the Red Fez ST with white wheels
Managed to Score a set of free skid rims from my dads work, Think they are Vauxhall Corsa Sport Wheels from the old Corsa B.... Anywho, they are the sames size width and PCD, offset is ET49 if i remember correctly. They bolted up perfectly, center bore is slightly larger but for free rims i can moan. Also thought it was time to get the shoddy silicone off the body. The previous owner bonded the skirts on an its a right shit job to remove... Looks a million times better now Also I have stripped out the interior and carpets to shed a tiny bit of weight, with the center console gone i may even throw a hydro on there too. I also tidied the wiring up so its out the way. May throw some paint down when i next get a chance along with a harness bar and harnesses. Fire Extinguisher is back in too although it may have to be moved when i fit the harness bar.
Nice build.. I really love the Zebra-Styled Fender! Awesome idea.. May i have to copy. Its a vinyl isnt it? I really like your progress - car looks way better than before. Thump up for the work on the engine. Keep up the good work!
Not much of an update really but after a sort out at work i came accross a new induction kit. Its a JR Direct Cold Air Feed Kit with a Carbon Fiber air box with all the fixings; Not bad me thinks, cant wait to get it fitted!
i think a different front bumper and a bit of cutting that back bumper and the kit could look good! with the right wheels. good work though looks good! how much for them skirts just out of interest?
Skirts came with the car but go for about £170ish on ebay. The bodykit has gone now though im afraid.
