yer its to stop shit flicking up and hitting people in the car, standard track day is window closed No it just means each car will be released from the dummy grid indivually so we can create a gap between cars at the start. This way we dont get 24cars nose to tail into the first corner. - - - Updated - - - I would have thought so
worried about the sound level... just fitted a straight pipe on mine.. a week before the day and now the limit. kinda need to test the noise somehow.. - - - Updated - - - how will the sound test be carried out? like what rpm? or will it be drive by?
108db is loud, a road breaker is 109db when gunning through tarmac, surely theres an app out there for smart phones to give you a ruff idea. The noise restriction has always been there and we've never had to pull a car in for being too loud yet.
Hi lez are we allowed to return threw the pits if we get a blow out just before them ? i know its not common but it happened to me last time so i kept to the left and crawled threw the pits instead off doing a full lap and holding everyone up
you shouldnt be blowing the tyres anymore, once you feel the tyre is on its last legs we want people to come in and change them, its causes damage to the track having people driving round on the rims.
