Looking great, love the look and stance of this car. Just brought myself an E36 so thanks for some inspiration .
What size wheels are you using up front. I m running modded hubs and my wheels rub the anti roll bar and been told I can't use the new shape 46 wishbones or me wheels will rub on those instead.
I've got on the Bbs style 5's and there's no rubbing at all,ill check the offset tmoz for you. My hubs are cut 15mm and e46 arms.
After reading another thread on drift works I realised why I might of had a cooling problem. I'm running m3 cooling gear just one thing missing Luckily I've just broke an m3 so had a spare I've set the camber arms at -1 neg camber and the new willwood and braided lines are all bled up, need to go out and do some testing before the mot runs out next week.
Cheers, got more bits coming that need doing powerflex black trailing arm bushes, having it chipped by end-tuning.but more importantly need more seat time before I start caging it and upping the power.as a newby I reckon this car will probably get bent this year at some point haha. Its only meant to be a tramp drifter but got out of hand, after my first day at Buxton I've decided to do some open tracks before I go back, need to hone my skills.buxton takes no prisoners haha ill be back tho as I can here the track from my shop. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Not updated this for a while,I'm totally hooked I fricken love drifting fact.the better you get the more you want smoke. We had a test day at Birmingham wheels which was great till I blew my rad,got it fixed and blew it again haha. To stop the overheating I went back to a new 325 rad as the m3 one was fubar, then stuck a 16" fan on the front. I did the fuel topia barrel sprint down at bovingdon airfield on sat night and the temp didnt move off half all day. RESULT. I've had a few problems with the hydro locking on after a run which i need to sort. New handle Also might sell the style 5,s and put these sunflowers on
I've just done gymkhana grid at silverstone What a wkd I can't put into words how good it was what a buzz . Getting there on sat morn and seeing all the cars I thought no chance would I get into the top 16 from the 30+ cars there. There was pro drifters a sheik from Dubai a bad car engined drifter it was mental. Here are a couple of pics from my phone. I've got loads of Gopro and proper camera stuff that I'll do this week.
I couldn't believe it tho I not only qualified top 16 the little Beemer came 8th mental realy. Then today I won my first round and in to the final 8. Which put me up against this nas car engined drifter driven by Australia and European drift champion. He won bugger. Haha

Cheers the summers up and I now need to decide which way to take it my plan was 2jz single turbo with an r154 gearbox but I've not got the 5k I would realistically need. I might sell up and buy an m3 Evo to drift I do love my beemers.
I fitted the solid engine mounts today which are made from hockey pucks Two and half glued together and drilled Then a little trim Perfect fit. So in torrential rain I decided to go for a spin on the industrial estate and this happened Spun it and it a massive concrete kerb ouch.front end missing and in the boot haha. Stripped it down. So I bent the front leg 40mm, and the ally e46 wishbone is bent like a banana So I bent the leg back over and started the rebuild straight away Brand new wishbone and the bended one So wishbone back on, new nosecone and paint it all up and it's back in action.
