Some videos I took of it today

The car sounds absolutely incredible! The video does no justice to the sound at all. Thomas is the man!

well you know where to go to get one built :)

It is so well put together and built. I just wish i hadnt wasted so much money in the beginning so that Thomas wouldnt have been restricted in going crazy with it.

That's the thing really isn't it, always the biggest problem in tuning- Who can do it properly!

Something this specialised, done this well, hardly any so called tuner could do properly, and even if so they'd end up out-sourcing half of it as they wouldn't be able to, so it'd cost so much more.

It's crazy Thomas hasn't got more people knocking his door down wanting work, but most people are happy spending 150quid on cheap Chinese shit manifolds and bodging stuff together, then constantly moaning as it don't work properly or don't hold together.

He needs a website for a start, and a facebook fan page rather than a friend page. I've told him this ages ago.

I didn't know you needed to change the MAF too, just the WAR stuff so you can remap the car properly, but tbh I've not looked in to it loads on the BMs. But yeah, like a Nissan or anything else, you'll reach the limits of the stock MAF and need something better at some point, and there's the solution it seems.

From what he said to me yesterday, it's yes and no. Yes he has the jig to make more, but said it's SO close to the engine and chassis (literally 4mm or so in places) that he needs a complete car there to test fit as he makes it to be sure it all clears and the nuts and stuff can all be fitted. Said he's had a fair few overseas enquiries and it's the same issue.
But I guess with a firm order or two he'd just go buy a car to test fit.

But unlike these Chinese manifolds which you buy and don't properly fit as they've never been tested before shipping, at these will lol.

Yep I think your need the blow through one as this is the one designed for turbo applications. At the bottom of that page, select 2.5 displacment, then under war chip and injectors select 'Already have it!'. Total cost for the MAF before shipping, tax etc is $970.00.

That's it then, I don't think miller support anything other than what they supply and they don't offer you the ability in the software to change it to custom settings so you are stuck with them.

Also Vinay do you have injectors on it already? I don't remeber you mentioning them before.

Just had a look at the prices for the maf and chip you could something standalone for that much like link, emerald etc? I have recently been looking at this ECU master http://www.ecumaster.co.uk/ which is super cheap and is mafless, Cost £549 for the standalone unit.

Jabran Injectors are there they wont be added until mapping as they were flooding the engine.

Miller do allow you to use other MAFs obviously they'd prefer you to use theirs, any decent mapper should be able to work with their tables to create custom maps

I'll give them a call tomorrow and make a decision i was hoping i could use one from the bigger V8 BMW's

little ant as Stav says the jig is there but its all dependent on what Turbo you use and placements plus your goal.

Its not going to be as cheap as a chinese made LHD manifold so unless your prepared to pay close to 4 figures for it i wouldnt even bother entertaining the idea but they come with a lifetime guarantee

    Car sounds insane :)

I agree with Dex though, why not go with a MAP sensor?

WAR Chip doesnt support MAP sensor.

I think the term Chip is misleading its fully mappable, you can run 4 different maps. Decision was made at the beginning to use the WAR chip so i dont really want to spend more on standalone
