So i bought myself an Eunos Roaster after some peer pressure to go rwd and do some learning.
It's pretty beat, but mechanically sound, which is what i was after, as lets be honest it'll probably be spend more time in the gravel at Lydden than on the track.

It's alright though, not a single bit of rust, mint soft top, no leaks, service history, not bad for £670.

    Bought it looking like this-

Got the diff welded and fitted my little 300mm omp wheel-

    Fitted my bucket-

Found the 300mm omp a little too small, so bought a 330mm omp-

Lowered on some cheap coilovers, stripped, and other various bits like splitters and smoked lights etc..

60psi and some manfoot, attempted to learn to skid lol.

Whoops.. kerbs just jump out of nowhere don't they.

Mate was scrapping his mx so grabbed all of his arms and stuff lol

That's about it so far.. Got Lydden Hill and Norfolk Arena booked this month to actually get some proper seat time without kerbs trying to get me. Will have rack spacers and alignment done before then.
Not really any other plans until i can drive it properly.

I like this, how you finding the welder in daily use?

take a stanley knife to the rear bumper and it ends up looking way better (in my opinion); here's mine:

Yeah I like the bumper cut people do, will probably do it at some point if i change the exhaust.
I don't use the car daily mate so couldn't say unfortunately, only bought it as a 2nd toy. Although i could easily deal with the welder daily if that helps.

the cut literally took half an hour including measuring up to get both sides even, a decent stanley blade goes through the bumper skin in one pass! i'm planning on sticking a centre-exit exhaust on mine to lose that huge backbox too.

I'm torn between a welder and a torsen for mine as it's still technically my sensible daily as well as fun toy while my supra project is in bits. People want silly money for the torsens off the newer mx5s though!

I run 60psi and the only time it's ever felt dodgey to drive is in the wet. Any other time it's still completely planted. I've never driven an LSD in the wet so not sure how it reacts unfortunately.

-2.40 deg camber and 0 deg toe on rear, 60psi in the tyres if that makes any difference lol.
