Genuine question, but IS this a bargain? Two gts-t's sold for the same amount recently, but both had a forged engine and were running around 500 hp (STAVROS', and someone else's last week), which seems to be a better deal? Seriously, genuine question, as I might be in the market for one when I get some stuff shifted Car looks great btw!
It is a bargain, I know why he paid for it and how much the recent work must have cost Just because these other cars had forged engines doesn't make them not a have a big list of "issues", well one of them anyway. Most 32's will have a nice to do list attached secretly somewhere, believe me I know first hand. If I was an mot tester I would have walked away from the blue 500bhp one. But I didn't lol I had a few 32's now, perfect ones are very very rare, there a bit like cosworths lol
Im not a fan of R32's, very few of them float my boat and im a Scotsman so tight as fuck ! BUT that car is fucking LUSH and the price didn't seem bad to me
Am I right in thinking that's a Chinese turbo? And in all fairness I think it's priced very well, considering how much he paid for it and what he must have spent. If you were interested in a deal with my s15 I'd be all over this.
yeh it is a toyo turbo... and i hate cheap turbos but tbf to this one i was pleasantly surprised.. it seems a pretty tidy one hence why i left it on there already had a 15 mate so will have to pass... thanks though
Thanks for the clarification guys And yes, you'll always make a loss on stuff like this. A mental MX-5 sold last year for 6k, while there was over 30k in parts in it (no exaggeration, spec list was insane!). That was a very extreme example though
