Sunday I managed to make a start on the drivers side sill.

Turns out it wasn't as bad as the other side so I pressed on.

Chopped out the grot and repaired the inner sill

    Fitted the outer sill

Started to fix the arch grot

Then I ran out of gas and everywhere was closed being a Sunday an all.

That's it for now, MOT is booked for next Saturday so I need to pull my finger out and get it sorted!

Righty ho, I'm happy to say the welding is complete!

Spent most of the weekend sorting a few bits out, finished all the welding, waxoyling and general rebuilding.

Also had to chop out a section of chassis rail as it had previously been flattened from being used as a jacking point (shit quality pic I know)

Couldn't resist getting a few snaps with the front end off :-D

By the time I had it all back together it was getting dark so picture quality was cack.

On the plus side, insurance and MOT is booked for saturday. If she passes then it will be full 4 wheel alignment and a set of rims hopefully.

Track day at our local sprint track is booked too, so will see how she copes :)

    Will update after MOT...!

Richie have a look into the Ultra racing products while you have the wings off, fender bars work really well and are pretty cheap.....

Pretty good build thread mate, makes me miss my old mx5. I never really used to skid mine but did do a lot of track days in it, and they are brilliant cars. Best thing I did to mine was get some coilovers, stiff and low and it makes a huge difference.

Im kinda touching base on drifting tbh, really want to get into it. I know i coulda put the seat time in over the past year but as i do alot of grip days at my local sprint track im glad iv put the work in so far.
Actually booked in for a full alignment on sunday now, been told by a few folk that they respond real well to a proper setup :D

Went for full geo setup today, suspension was out a bit but...

The guys had loads of set ups on file so was hard to find something that will suit street, track and drift...

    Any who, the blurry photo below was what the guys there went for;

Will have to see how she fairs up on track at the end of the month :)

    It's a HKS Silent Hi-Power Cat Back System with a 3 3/4" tailpipe.

Tempted to go for a decat but need to see how loud it is first.....

Powerflex exhaust bushes are on order so will get it fitted the weekend, can't wait!
