hi guys i have a 1jz sc300 that im currently building up. im not building it up to be a drift car but i am building it to the point where i can drift it currently the car is down the twin turbos blew up on me last week so im currently piecing together a single turbo kit. mods are as followed on the car: -full 3 inch stainless exhaust (y-pipe too) -tein flex coilovers -titan cam gears -stage 3 clutch on w58 -greddy fmic -supra bbk in front How do you post pics?? well heres some vids: had a bad boost leak on the 2nd vid. well thats it for now, will be updating this thread as i go! cheers
wow so i havent updated this thread in a while! WELL to start off i started my single turbo build. i will be using a holset hx35 for the ease of drifting the disassembly begins oh boy! twins off...what a pita!
then i had to put the fuel rail kit on...had to take off the throttle body and the iac valve to get access...this was not an easy job. lots of patience required finally got the damn fitting on fitting on return line. i plan to make this a push lock hose in the near future and this was the hard part! On sc's, unlike mk3's, it is just plain firewall. there is no step or anything to mount the aeromotive fpr! so i ended up zip tying it (yes, im a zip tie master to some hardlines. hardly any movement so it should work
now to continue mock fitted the adapter plate on since my manifold is a t4 and my turbo is a t3 heres my set up. hks 50 mm wastegate and a driftmotion manifold so i went ahead and mounted everything but found this out the head of the wastegate is in the way of my downpipe going in!!! and unfortunatly i do not knw how to weld so its off to the shop to finish up with downpipe, lc-1, and intercooler piping install

pulled the 1j out to do a little spring cleaning http://s1224.photobucket.com/user/w...006-D284E050E0B5_zpsdyjgp56f.jpg.html?filters[user]=112416149&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=17 before and after of the engine bay to now this gold flakes on timing cover now the engine bay looks like this with the motor in it i installed: -new timing belt -15 psi wastegate spring -650cc sard injectors -new front main seal, cam seals, cleaned everything up -walbro 400 -emanage ultimate will post updated pics a little later. these pics were taken a few weeks ago. car is now running and driving. im looking for a good map for the emanage ultimate. im running 650cc inj, holset hx35, walbro 400, aeromotive fpr, stock cams. anyone have a good map? plan on running 19psi with my boost controller, 15 psi with just wastegate
gonna get my diff welded here soon and when i get a good map on the emanage, gonna start taking it out to the track and shred tires
