    So, I recently managed to acquire Freddie Mercurys old Mercedes (its genuine).

    Heres where I found it, in the yard at my work

    The yard was being cleared, the boss was showing me what was to be moved when the lorry arrived. This was just sitting down the bottom. When i asked what was happening with it he said he was just going to scrap it. FUCK NO.
    Deals were done and i got to take it away, after some research found out it was Freddies

    It hadnt moved in 15 years so was a bit difficult to get it on the trailer. The winch died about 5 times and we kept having to let the justys clutch take a break

    I don't know what to do with it. Restoring it would be the best bet, but realistically i can't afford to do that. Skidding it would be awesome, but seems silly to do it to one with such a history. So I think I may just try and sell it. Not sure yet...[/quote]

    He just saw it as scrap in his way.

    The nova is a friends, it belonged to another friend that was killed last year. It's soon going to be a RWD C20XE.

    I don't want to sell it but with having not long bought my first house, a 5 month old son and an E36 I may have too. I don't think I can give it the resto it deserves

    That's a +£30k car restored!! Would probilly make more in USA..

    Don't make my mistake and Arena Essex a rare w126..

    Iv got a TON on parts off my old one, mainly interior and engine parts if you need anything:thumbs:

    I think even in the condition the car is in right now, there will be someone throwing money at you, just because Freddy farted in this bucket.
    Put it on eBay and you will get some cash for your house! Good buy ^^

    Most of the collectors I've contacted only collect smaller items. I need to find a Queen fanatic who's also a classic car enthusiast
