Got it Thank you! Just looking for other options in case can't get the Garret. Like the 1 year guaranty of Turbonetics. Also I've seen a lot of bimmers builds with Precision and Holset hx35/40 turbos.

Nice piece of work, hoping to buy the 1JZ engine from Garage-D. Just need to sell my RMS Vortech supercharger kit.

Glad to see this project constantly on the move. It's a serious hike in power from your NA days too!
The rear end needs to come down a fair bit though. You'll probably find it improves handling

Cant really do that as the archs rub so much. I dont want to substitute looks for function. I'll be running 255 once the arches go on so will have more room to play around with things.

Good shout. These cars tend to like being flat rather than raked forwards, function wise that is

Just wondering if anyone could give me any help on my E36 Coupe situation.

Recently fitted E46 arms and modded hubs (brought second hand). Obviously it has given me increased lock, but one wheel has major toe in whilst the other is perfectly straight. Is this a simple case of getting it tracked or is something not right somewhere? I was expecting toe in from both wheels but not just one.

Any help or knowledge appreciated :) cheers, Brad.

Check the hubs look the same as in where they've been chopped, have you fitted rack spacers ? If not it should just be a simple case of getting it tracked.

Not fitted rack spacers, got so much lock I think it would pop the rack. They look dead on the same where modified, so hopefully tracking it should solve it, so might as well fit some better track rod ends at that. Just didn't expect such a difference in just one wheel.

    Thanks for the help :)

Sounds like the rack maybe isn't centered to me.

Happens loads with modified hubs n shit, well, usually it's always been set like that but you only notice once changing hubs etc and realise one side has more toe or lock or whatever than the other.

Yeah never had a problem until the hubs were fitted and before I put the wheels on I noticed one had a lot more lock than the other, and hoping that just getting it tracked straight wont effect the lock too much.

She's back in my hands after a long few months. The new turbo is on and firing hard.

Changed the wastegate for a Tial item, its deafening.

Still a few issues that need to be resolved like the steering rack and some electrical gremlins.

At least i can start working on making it look a bit prettier now.

Elites manifold is now available for £675 and I'm currently piloting an ac schnitzer fettled 3.0 m50 with supposedly forged internals.
Got to be time to joining in on this boost train.

since my last update the car developed an intermittment misfire which we narrowed down to coilpack 5, water had been entering the chamber, we cleaned it out changed the coilpacks and by god what a difference.

The arches will be a challenge to fit but are massively needed on the front to avoid police attention.

I'm changing to M3 side moulding trim as well.

After that i need to start thinking about things like a roll cage to add rigidity and then a general tidy up and i can probably say the car is complete and finished.
