Whilst attempting to get the filter replacement boss to seal propperly I disturbed some wiring and now car is playing up, broken wire in ignitor wiring & broken terminal on lower plenum earth strap ( goes to nearly everything) note to self" don't be so heavy handed with old wiring"!
I did a spot of wire tidying and cut my iacv valve wiring out and proceeded to fully remove it from the car, because I am a ledgend! ( thank you Jonnymac,Dylan hart,Jason lowe & Nigel west for your technical help & wiring photos!
Well went to lydden on 27th 09 2014 and things were going really well but then the car is still getting too hot :-( So new project after speaking to stu Farley and a few mates is a redesign of the water cooling system needs to happen involving a bit of chopping on the front end but this is yet to be looked over properly! Anyway pic's from lydden Will foxwell in his 32 Drift around my brother Smoke Using some lock!
Lol only a temp thing as needed to drive home, probably get some better fans before finilizing on fixings as I'm not overly impressed with these at the moment
Car sounds mental dude! Quick question, also looking for an oil cooler and filter relocation kit. The oem position sucks, I can see oil dripping all over the subframe when changing filters. What brand did you go for?
Is that for the actual oil cooler? I was more referring to the adapter. Did you remove the oem oil cooler btw?
Rad moved forwards now, trying to decide whether to get viscous back on or whether to go twin evo fans .....hmmmmm
We'll recently I've been thinking up effective ways to sort cooling and I've managed to gay a viscous to fit Quite tight though I took it for a drive and the engine ran cooler than it has ever done, now to sort ducting to maximise efficiency
