Importing a ps13

    I'm looking into importing a ps13, what companies would you recommended for importing one?

    I'm looking for a black one fairly standard with reasonable miles on the clock.

    Speak to Michael at Autospecs/Japaneseusedcars.com they have a section on the forum, and finding a black PS13 isn't going to be difficult :)

    One Sold a week ago for approx £1500 FOB.. 65000km.. Even if that wasn't a DET then you can afford to convert and you start off with a low mileage shell..

    Alternatively this one posted is a K's model, and as such would be an SR20DET..

    Sold for £2000 FOB last week also, they come up all the time, get your deposit paid to japaneseusedcars.com and start bidding :thumbs:

    What's the ps13 I'm looking for then? I'm new to the Nissan scene? Is it a k ps13?

    For the sake of simplicity yes, its a PS13 K's edition (though technically any 'P' S13 should have an SR). On the auction sheet / information it will say 2.0 Turbo or give an engine code.

    To clear things up, it's the model name Silvia K's, NOT the chassis code KS13 or KPS13. The K in the chassis code signifies that it has the HICAS rear end.

    ive just used Paul at JDM Garage, bagged a decent modified ps13 at a very good price.

    youve gotta bear in mind that the fob price looks amazing but youll have so many more fees on top which will be more than the cost of the vehicle itself. as an idea, my car is £2200, all the fees/shipping/etc comes to £2500 on top of the fob price, and all id have left to pay is to register it and a mot

    Imports JDM seem pretty good. Their website is down at the moment but you can contact them through facebook...
