Was hoping to get the roof wing finished, but the filler I got turned out to be acrylic based, so its still soft. Back to the drawing board

Then I made a start on the bar

No pipe bender, so was all slightly cut and bent by hand

Took a few hours, test fitted and tacked up

    All welded up

Then went on to think of a place to mount the cooler. No space on the side of the car. Fog light, bumper and load of other stuff get in the way. So moved to the front... Not ideal for air flow to the rad, but meh.

Need to do the same for the pas cooler when I eventually get one. The bar is right up against the bumper, so small nudges will no longer cause the bumper to explode. Also gives the front end a bit more rigidity.

Then went on to de-pikey the fuel pump... From this

    To this

Also installed a sard thermostat. And blanked the bov

One thing I like about this country, is that the weather is so predictable!

This is really cool, and a great thread to read too. Khorosho!
When I start to learn to drift I was thinking of getting an is200 or mx5 definitely thinking about this now, is there much difference between an altezza and is200?

altezza is a four cylinder beams engine, is200 is a 6 cylinder weak ass engine. (i've the IS2)....

My advice would be to get an mx5 over an IS200, they are way more fun and way less frustrating to skid, haha
