    Hi All

I am from South Africa and while sitting outside my hut looking at my pet giraffe, I decided to capture my build thread on this fantastic site

I have always been a Honda vtec fan but now its time to move on and I got myself a really rough E36 325i M50 non Vanos manual

Plan are: for a road legal drift car for me to drive to events. I already have a daily so this is my toy

    Stripped out interior
    All creature comforts removed
    Some comy buckets
    Lexan windows
    Modded hubs
    BC Coil overs
    and more.

    Specs so Far:

    Ricer Parts - Fun Goodies
    Wink 5 Part panaramic mirror
    5" Tacho
    Tear Drop Side Mirrors
    Momo Suede Drift Steering Wheel
    Hydro Hand Brake
    Cone Filter

    Suspension
    Rack Spacers
    Camber Washers kit

    Time for pics...

If you've taped the sunroof up, how will the giraffe fit in?

What are you planning power wise or just keeping it stock-ish for now?

I was going to keep my block and use the 330i internals with headwork and lightned stuff the full works for NA basically and possibly turbo at a later stage

Upon research it would be cheaper for me to take it to a shop and do a 1uzfe vvti v8 conversion or a 1jz, as parts for these cars are crazy expensive here

I am currently looking for a 3.91 diff from an auto 323i/325i/328i

so I really do not want to spend on mods on this motor as maybe I might put a side pipe to save weight

Since my mirrors are damaged, instead of going oem I decided for cheapo replacements and they lighter too
    [IMG]

More ricer/reacer parts to come if only this south african post office wasnt so useless

I am so pissed the bushings are the wrong ones !!!!
FFS sent them back for my mate to sort out they should be here by the end of the month :(

So my build is on hold till I get these and I am going on leave in the middle of September so my new parts will have to be installed in beging of october

But on the upside these came today, they look great, build quality seems to be good

Been so busy haven't had time to even look at my project worst part is I have 90% of my parts

Had a gap this weekend so did some workings

Indicator Harness Wire Up and Install Corner light
Change Wheels to E90 3 series 16" Rims
    Install Rear Wheel Studs
    Rear View Mirror - EBAY
    ZHP Weighted Gearknob

On the way to my parents house where I do all my stuff, worst thing about racecar no storage compartments lol
    [IMG]

Rear wheel studs conversion for easy rear wheel changes, should have gone with the shorter length but its ok for now

E90 Rims - excellent fitment no wheel touching, the wheels that were on the car were 175/60/50 :RedNo: with bubbles in them
