No, unless you buy conversion engine mounts. Most people run an R33 front subframe for the conversion if I remember correctly. And no again. If your going to run an RB25, just get the correct box as it's much stronger than the standard small case SR20/RB20 gearbox
SR20 box vs RB20 box Bell housing bolt pattern (ie where it attaches to the engine) is different. Bolt pattern attaching to the gearbox case is the same. However: The RB20 box has a small case (second half) and longer bell housing (front half) The SR20 box has a longer case and shorter bell housing It is physically possible to interchange the two bell housings, however if you put an SR20 case on an RB20 bellhousing you will have an overlength gearbox. I also believe your input shaft will be too short and not reach the clutch There's the reason why it won't work Sell SR box, buy RB box You can use the front half of an RB20 driveshaft and the rear half of an SR/existing driveshaft. R33 crossmember puts the engine in the best position.
? Fuck yeah its that easy. You've made the metal lumps fit in the car you just turn the key and away it goes. There isnt any wiring at all to deal with.
