    Another shot of the gusseting
    [IMG]

Had to make the car movable quickly. The house got renovated, I've sold the house and we've bought one together. First time its moved in years I think!

    Byeeee!

And at the new place! With garage!!! No room for car and working at the moment so its still living outside but it means progress will be a bit more frequent. Plans are to extend the garage to make it 1.5x wide and another 8ft longer so i'll get the car and workshop in one place at last. That wont be until after the wedding mind..

    Gave it a quick clean
    [IMG]

And time to let the new neighbors know where I'm at hahah!

Removed the front subframe for the first time
    [IMG]

Took a while to strip the subframe. A few snapped bolts later.

Decided to bin the tubular manifold for now and just get the damn thing running. Decided to use the OEM manifold with an elbow to make it top mounted. Picked up this china GT2671 off here for £110 delivered just to get things moving. Keeping the Holset on standby once I'm actually up and running.

    This is the crank pulley
    [IMG]

And seeing that I need to mount another pulley I came up with a plate to do so.

And the pulley, bought from the states.

Messing about with turbo placement. Can't fully weld until I get the engine in.

Bought a new bench from Costco. I was quite happy with it, and after seeing they were reduced further, ended up buying another!

Before I bought the 2nd bench
    [IMG]

    Removed front subframe bushes
    [IMG]

    Naked subframe
    [IMG]

Picked up some H&R's from ...somewhere. Can't remember, Slovenia perhaps. These are actually to replace the shite thats on the daily. Track car will get treated to something a bit more worthy
    [IMG]

Solid bushes for the front subframe. Rather fancy looking, I'd hope so for the money!

A friend had recently got his car up and running on standalone. I got ECU-envy and dug out my VEMS and blew off 6 years of dust. Rigged it up to a bench and hoped for the best.

Result! Won't be using this straight away. The stock T5 ecu has loads of support and I can basically get an off the shelf map for the current setup.

Got a few bits of metal laser cut
    [IMG]

    Got subframes blasted and powdercoated
    [IMG]

Pieced together bits of metal in the living room

The engineering going into this project is class! I love how you're making most the stuff/modifying stuff to work yourself. The pedal box looks amazing also!

This is stuff I would love to be able to do one day but highly doubt I ever would - seeing it makes me jealous! Amazing stuff!

Talk about monster thread update, nice one! I remember reading about this a year or so ago so glad to see it is still going. Good choice on the front brake calipers, I've got some sitting idle at the moment ready to go on my skyline!

Floyd, will reply to the email on pm here. Problem with my phone and whilst I can read my work emails, they won't send!

Not quite as local as you think, my friend works in Taunton who did the drawing for me, I'm from Southampton :)

Thanks for the kind words, awfully nice to use your first post in my thread! Haha :D

Thanks for all the comments guys, makes it worthwhile. Again, all those that have asked, you should now have the drawings.

I've answered a few questions that I've had via PM or email - if I've missed you pm me again, not ignored you on purpose, just had a massive influx of PM's!
