Backwards into a bank and the drop off from track to gravel is kinda brutal at that bit of the track.
Chill out its only fiber glass haha car is fine and kit is being repaired now. Its gonna get damaged as i dont drive like a pussy and i drive it hard lol Went in far to fast into the top corner and the car just span in the wet and i ended up in the gravel bank. was back out drifting 10 mins later. Was well funny! its got an extra 120 BHP so it was a bit of a handful and took a while to get used to! Got loads of pics and vids from the weekend. Was an amazing weekend. Backwards entires 10 car trains! will post up all this shit soon haaha
So last weekend started on Monday with a Mad rush to get the car finished for our 4 day drift tour. Garage 21 finished the S15 at 5.30am Thursday Morning after an awesome mapping session from MB automotive. The Sr20DET has had the following upgrades. Cosworth 1.5mm metal head gasket APR Bolts GTX 2867R turbo with billet wheel. Supplied by Midlands Turbo Nismo 740cc Injectors R35 GTR MAF 6 Boost T3 custom bottom mound manifold supplied by Wayne at Auto Extreme Exteral waste gate and screamer pipe. The car is absolutely savage! Its such an amazing set up there is no LAG its instant power. MB did an awesome job on the map and the Garage 21 setup with the combination has worked really well. We had a shake down of the car at Three Sisters! Really enjoyed this track it was the first time I ever drove there. Really fast layout. I only managed to do one session due to my caber arm snapping!! annoyingly. Here are some pics and a vid.
I did it first lap put but then found you only need to manji once to get to the corner. its a fun track man! should get all the guys to go one time!
haha sorry ali, i only did it 2/3 times all day the rest was a mix of a long stretched manji or just fast with a single flick in.
Yea man it did. - - - Updated - - - So straight after three sisters we headed north of the wall to Scotland for Awesome boss at driftland! What a weekend! Firstly it was the wettest I have ever experienced out on track! Knowing that and sitting in a car that had an extra 110 BHP things were rather interesting! At the very end of the first session I got a bit carried away and tried to throw a big entry into the final boss corner and ****ed it Car just slid out from me and it felt like it would never stop until we went up the bank! Luckilly it was only cosmetic and I was back out 10 mins later. After that it dried up and I was asked to drive in the night demo's where we played drift limbo and 10 car drift trains! it was so much fun until Mr Lycett appeared out of no where like John CENA and love tapped by rear wheel! Bent the camber arm that I borrowed of Alex Law and that was me done for the evening. Thankfully we bought new DW arms that Ali brought up that morning so I was back out on track sunday! Was an amazing weekend. Here are some pics Then my off

2 weeks after Awesome Boss and the car is all fixed too as I was filming on monday for a cool short film. TOUGE!
this is epic man! read from start to finish!!! I prefer the red a lot more to the blue!! good choice!!! love how wide it is too. however, my favourite bit is how many times you put mental amounts of effot and money in, skid it, fuck it, then just fix it and do it all over again!! kudos bruski !!! keep it up man, keep enjoying it, deserve it after 6 odd years off building it lol
Thanks man, Thats the whole point isnt it if you enjoy it then thats all that matters! never kept a car for so long. just love it lol Here is an edit from my go pro and my girlfriends camera from awesome boss
that's a quality vid man! my friend also showed me a few videos of the cone limbo challenge from awesome boss, think that's a brilliant idea looked well fun !!
Hi dude, car looks (and is pretty much in all ways) ace! Just watched the Monky London vid last night and it was pretty epic. Anywho, probably the most boring question to ask with so much going on with the car, but what colour did you settle on in the end? Or was it a custom paint job? I went back through and the thread goes from choosing between a bunch of different colours. To having one on the car that wasnt in the short list and no more being mentioned lol. Cheers.
Monkey London vid up peeps check it out! - - - Updated - - - Thanks man! We settled on a deep candy red from specialised paints. Cracking colour.
Dang, ive been hoping it was a vinyl as its very similar to the colour i was thinking for my chaser. Canny afford a full respray though right now. Again, car looks amazing, bet youre well happy with the results after all the time and effort! Enjoy the seat time!
I went to my first Rockingham Infield dirft day on Sunday as I missed the spring matsuri. The event was amazing. Well organised and the track was insane! Was consistently clocking over 100MPH on parts of the track. I kept to the infield as my car was to low to do the banked circuit. This was the first time I could really stretch the legs on the new setup that Garage 21 did on the car. The response is amazing and power is there whenever i need it. My driving was a little reserved due to not knowing the track at all. Next time i go back ill have the confidence to do more flicks and bigger entries. Rather than adding additional manjis in I preferred making the corners in one via handbrake extending. Hopefully next time ill carry more speed to not need to do that. Having a garage was pretty cool to! Here is a vid of the day.
