    Hey guys,
I paid a deposit for a S15 silvia to import back in december, which I did cancel.
I paid a 1500€ deposit and had to pay 150,000¥ (which was round about 800€ or something back then) fee for the work they did, which I was okay about.
But I havent seen the rest of my deposit and they dont reply to emails anymore, what is going on.
Anyone got contact to them, since they wont reply to me anymore, or any other advices of what to do now?

    greetings

Thats what a deposit is for. If you cancelled, then you lose the deposit. Sorry dude.

    Man, this sucks.
But hey okay, can’t change it.
But I’m a little disappointed that they don’t even respond anymore.
Maybe I would have bought some wheels instead but hey,
    Won’t buy there anymore.

Theres some shady stuff for sure, but a deposit is a deposit im afraid buddy. Im sure you can use it to buy something else, shouldnt be a problem with that i would hope.

Don't know the situation 100%, but they would have spent time getting ready to import the car etc etc, and time is money. The deposit would have been for that time that they had to spend, so not too sure if they would let you have wheels or something instead. Always worth a try though!

I'm not trying to take the piss/defend them or anything but if above is right, why don't you share some examples of what you've hear that isn't good and why you wouldn't use them?

Saying something ambiguous like that doesn't help anyone tbh.

Do their terms of the deposit state the deposit is non-refundable?

Either way, I wouldn't want to do business with anyone who wants a non-refundable deposit to begin with.

You only have to have a look online mate to see some of the negative feedback, people have been scammed by them left right and centre. Funnily enough a thread popped up on Facebook tonight where more people have been left high and dry.

In this users case though unfortunately a deposit is a deposit.

Damn, I really thought they were reliable because of their Facebook page since they got a huge community.
Next time I’ll look trough some forums beforehand and don’t trust some Facebook page/reviews...

Personally I wouldn't trust any business with the word "Jap" in their name, but that's just me.

chkmie, did you make the deposit via PayPal or wire transfer? If PayPal, see you can dispute it.

To be honest though, what was the agreement on the deposit. Was it to secure a car and have it brought over, or was it just a straight down payment on a car here? If they've not even brought the car over etc, I think I would be asking for some back or press them to show you the car they have secured for you.

They can't just decide they're keeping it if they've done no work?

To buy a car in japan that they bring it to the uk and then to germany,
then I got told I wont be able to drive the car in germany because of TUV etc. and I didnt like it that much anymore,
so I was ok with paying a fee for the work they did, doing pictures for me and so on, yet the fee was 150,000 Yen
when I asked about the rest of my deposit, they never responded back since then..
