Thanks all - if the interest continues, I'll begin breaking the car this week and itemise/photograph each part. Pics to come, but below are rough costs if I were to split the motor - it would be a shame as the entire combination pulls mega hard at 1.8bar, but I appreciate £10k is quite a chunk for an individual to commit on a drivetrain package. If you wanted to Turbo Kit (Turbo/Manifold/Wastegate), I'd recommend to have the exhaust also. It made by APW and whilst it may need jiggling around, it would give you a great start to work from.
Not the greatest of pictures, but something for peoples info until I get enough interest and detailed pictures. {} {}
ok well the turbo kit does sound good, problem with the exhaust would be its to go in a s14 i may be interested in the shell aswell, any rust or welding done? im presuming it wouldnt be rolling? no build thread or pics of parts to look over?
In regards to the shell, it doesn’t have very good history at all to the point I would only sell the car as “track/competition” only. The long story short was that when I bought the car, the previous owner “failed” to let me know it’s actually a 180sx which has had the rear half of a Silvia put onto it. By which point, I was too committed into the shell. The car took a quite a hit into a tyre wall at Castle Combe in 2017 where the front right strut has moved so would require pulling out if you want it to be 100% square. The whole 180sx thing, you couldn’t really tell apart from the Vin Number, but I couldn’t knowingly sell the shell onwards as “mint” as my conscious would be going nuts! I’d rather be upfront and honest to get a genuine sale. The shell has a fully bespoke Huxley Motorsport weld in cage, which ties in the front and rear strut towers (this is what saved that car from being much worse at Castle Combe). This alone cost me £2/2,500 alone, where Huxley also tubbed the front arches and made a tubular front end and bash bar. I believe it has Irish registration plates. I’ll reply to people’s PM’s and posts shortly as I’ve just got home. Ta.
Both rails are still here - I can possibly post them to Austria, but it will take a few days to get a price. Just for clarity, they are Bride Seat Rails which are side mounting.
A local dude has provisionally bought the wings - I'll let you know if this falls through. All PM's replied to. Below is an assortment of pictures: PS13 Brick Lights with Clear Lenses (and original glass) - one side has a crack at the bottom of the bracket (3rd picture) which could do with some glue or plastic welding, and the other has the bottom snapped off. {} {} {} {} {} {} Powered by Max Gearknob - Nissan thread. {} {} {}
Bump! There is interest in the engine and gearbox package, and depending on that outcome, nothing within this package will be sold as id much rather see the whole lot go as a package and make someone very happy. Ta.
