0.9 bar is solid advice. You can run more but turbo will sh*t the bed soon enough.

I believe a little over 0.9 is when the boost cut kicks in anyways so you'd need a fuel cut defender or something like it to go beyond that.

Fuel cut on standard ECU is around 1 bar so 0.9 should be good. Standard boost is lower, I think 0.6 bar but if you have decat & exhaust fitted it's probably running more. With an aftermarket ECU, can run 1.2 bar safe enough although it doesn't have much top end.

At the minute the car sits with a blitz back box, hpi front mount and a hpi induction kit and the boost gauge reads 0.8 unless the boost gauge reads false it should be that high??Got exhaust/elbow/down pipe to fit soon along with the j pipe delete, boost controller and fuel pump. Was going to get a power run on the dump too what power am I expected to see? 300hp??

Sounds a little bit strong for standard boost but I'm not sure. You should see about 300 with those bits yea.

You do sometimes see boost levels rise when you fit induction and exhaust mods.

usually run around 7-9 psi of boost, but if you remove the factory downpipe and decat the boost will to spike at 15-17 psi (not good for a factory turbo).

The wastegate does not freely flow enough for it to be controlled. to fix this toyota fitted a very restrictive downpipe and cat to reduce flow thru the exhaust turbine.
What I've done is ported the waste gate as much as possible..... and to be honest its worked to some extent but at times i do see spikes at 12-13psi.
a restrictor plate is a 'bodge' which is why i haven't gone this route but it does work and simple to do.

My run at 1.2 bar with FCD on 102 octane with no issues until the turbo went bad.
