I wasn't sure of the colour at first but seeing it coming together, it looks beautiful mate...

The work you have done is a credit to you mate :worthy::worthy::worthy:

RX7 are probably the most beautiful car to come out of Japan & I can't wait to see this project progress

Ran into difficulty with the rack. Yeah FD rack moved forward 50mm. For some reason there's huge play between the rack and pinion so haven't got round to chopping the hubs yet. Won't get near this again till the end of July I'm afraid.

Cage and arms is just Holtz gold. Cheers lad

Thanks much appreciated. The end of summer will finally see this project finished. Don't think I'll be doing a built this detailed in my lifetime again. I'll do it once and I'll do it right. It didn't come out the exact colour I wanted but I'm still v happy with it. Planned for it to be a darker maroon than this even.

Could you ask him for some advice on the steering rack? There's huge play between the rack and pinion. Now I've no power steering lines hooked up yet but would that make any difference I don't know I don't have enough experience with them.

Haven't updated this in years. Anyway its finished now. Running a safe and responsive 350bhp on a simple forged sr20 with a Garrett 2871r. Only thing left is to make up some power steering lines and sort all the alignment. When I started this wise fab did not manufacture a lock kit but do now so I would like to get that in the future when I actually get a chance to use the machine.

    Thanks lad appreciate it.

I've deleted all the old photobucket photos and uploaded straight from the phone so everything should be visible again. Quality probably isn't great as these were all old iPhone pictures at the time
