    Hey all,

Figured I would start a little build thread on my new rig!

Car was imported by me with the help of Dori Junkie here in Queensland Brisbane back in May / June of 2021.

Here is a photo of it before it left Japan. Originally from Gifu Chubu region.

    received_817921252265178.

I will post a full breakdown along with some updates soon!

So... a bit of a spec update.

The car arrived from Japan, by then I had around 3 months of anticipation...and just the sheer want to drive the thing..

The car was a touch rough around the edges, as usual they were running it absolutely slammed through the ground over there, which the bottom of the car showed plenty of signs of. Knuckles were shortened by around 30mm, to allow it to go even lower than usual to avoid the upper arms hitting the strut towers and chassis.

    218004214_10226030132242773_1925475100415576439_n.
    219066185_10226032479541454_5202047352929953211_n.

The car came with some custom built wheels 'Intensity Hunk' in some pretty rad sizes, 18x9.5 +30 and 18x10.5 +26. They were running 3 pairs of spacers on the front, which was necessary just to clear the upper control arm, since the knuckle was cut so short. So this was the first point of call when it came home, to rectify as unfortunately as some have mentioned above, you can't have spacers fitted on a road vehicle in Queensland.

    Car arrived at Dorijunkie~!

Sorted out the height prior to receiving the car, and did a few little things to tidy it up with a bit of going over mechanically.

Test fitted the Prestige Racing front bar, while it was there as well.

Strip down began, I wanted to sort cooling and oil leaks etc, prior to driving since I wanted to drive this a lot more than just on the weekend.

New seals, timing belt, pump, etc

Now that looks killer! Yeah I do dig the design. You never see them around.

Been street dutied for awhile! In a few weeks will do a minor tear down to tidy a few things up and send a few things off for paint. New lip and skirts with rear bumper flare.

    Hey man,

For the GReddy FMIC, are you using the stock reo bar or are you using a custom one? I’m trying to sort out how to get the stock one to fit to the 171 without cutting the thing. Any help is appreciated x
