Hi all! I did this back in 2019 and it seemed to help people so trying this again. I have made a Google Spreadsheet to try keep an up to date calendar of all the UK Drift Days in 2022. Hopefully this will get more people at drift days, and can be used by anyone to see when they can do a skid. So far the only dates I have found for all of 2022 are Pod, and up to March for 2022 Driftland, but please edit it and add in any days you find, whenever you can find them, for any track really... Thank you to anyone who adds anything .
Thankyou RozeTheHornet. I have just been looking myself to see what dates are coming up in 2022 so thankyou, the calendar is very appreciated. Yes I will add to the calendar any other practice days I find out about. Cheers.
Now updated to reflect Lydden Hill's Sideways Saturday dates. As always, any help or input is appreciated.
Wet days only and its 3 hours of track time in the afternoon, would not recommend being honest, just not enough seat time to justify the cost. Its 3 hours track time, but that's then also split between 5 groups of 4 drivers, and if anyone goes off into the gravel (which many do) then that takes at least a few mins to clear before track resumes again... After taking in to account that you also cant drift the back corner, I ended up getting under 13 mins of actual driftable seat time for the £100 ticket cost... sure your not going through tyres because its a wet track, but just not really justifiable in my opinion, which is a shame because Lydden used to be awesome .
Updated again now to reflect Teesside's 2022 Drift Day dates Spoke to 3 Sisters but they have not released their yearly calendar yet. As always, any dates, locations or any other info is much appreciated!
After looking at this and seeing the recent BDC dates, It seems drifting is now just a northern thing in the UK
