This is my bmw which i used for the sideways racing championship in n.ireland.It raced in an open class with no restrictions which had 500bhp subarus, evos, kitcars, etc in it.I lead the championship for most of the season but finished up 3rd overall due to the last two race days which went very badly because it was mapped by a complete moran.the car is also log booked for sprints and stage rally.I was out in one rally 2 years ago and came home with 2 trophys due to an awesome car
How ever I am in the process of completely rebuilding the car and would like to share with you the progress .

    Any updates?
Can you give me some information about the conversion?
did you do it yourself, how did you get around the steering shaft problem etc.?

After nearly a year of planning and a few mods here and there ive given up on the idea of building an m42 motor for my car. :(:(
The process is going to be too expensive....pretty much everything would have to change in the engine.

So instead im going to do an F20c swap....so any info you could provide would be awesome.

Il start a build thread for mine when it comes off the road in the summer!
