Cool project, I'm seriously strugglng to persuade myself not to go and check out the white one for sale. Reckon it needs the arches like your one has for extra cool points though.
this morning we had masked up the back of the pick up to do a bit more custom, {} {} we sprayed the bed gold and added rainbow flake as dan had said he needed flake in his life, {} {} {} we then sprayed the bonnet, spoiler and wing mirrors black with rainbow flake it just had to be done, {} {} {} {} {} {} {} pictures do not do this car justice! tomorrow we are going to start doing the tail gate and have her all back togeather ready for paul at JDM Garage to fit the engin!
Cheers for the tip on buying this, i absolutely love it. I love a bitta flake, just for that JDM over the topness.
Blocks can be are placed between the axle and leaf springs to lower a vehicle further, provided that the axle is already on top of the leaf springs. The blocks are mounted by using extended U-bolts in place of the stock U-bolts. Shims are available to maintain the correct pinion angle. Blocks are available in 1 to 4-inch sizes. Expect to pay $10 to $50 for blocks.
Yea, basically spaces the axle up, pullin the wheel up into the arch. There you can see the block between the leaf spring and the axle. Pretty small block there though. On my mates volvo we had 2 inch ones, i think!
cheers guys, that looks the way to do it, i'll get some made up, do you know any where that sells them?
I'm gonna put the wing on just to piss everyone on here off! Its there for a very good reason, IT NEEDS IT!
ring rally design or go to Professional Motorsport Parts, Spares & Rally Equipment from Rally Design they do 2inch lowering blocks which would be perfect
