At 40 I decided I wanted to learn how to drift. Never done anything like it before. It sounded fun.
Found Learn2Drift, did a full 1 2 1 day, then went and did another 20 days there. I've also spent time doing pit work and tutoring in the basics.
Very much a novice as I've not twinned or got beyond second gear, however I love it when I get a session where each slide just glides precise and solid through the tightest of spaces.
Running an is200 with a welded diff and basic coilovers and non working hydro. Regularly found trying to get out of the washing machine lane at Rockingham practice days-yes, Learn2Drift are still there . I've a number of practice days in her and can keep her sliding for minutes at a time now!
Would like to get to competition level, however the cost is rather prohibitive at this stage, so might be a long time before I manage it.Interact
