    Hey boys,

My s13 currently has a dump valve which is making it run really bad, i’ve decided to ditch it and go for flutter instead.

My question is what’s some tips to get it fluttering LOUD?

    Thanks in advance :D

All stainless boost pipes increase the noise quite abit.

Bigger intercooler prolongs the duration of flutter

Intake piping material, bends and size determine pitch. The smaller the higher pitch the bigger the deeper pitch

Theres a LOT more to it.

big intercooler and steel piping is the simple method, although turbo makes a huge difference. Bigger the better

I'm running a GT2554 on my MX5, used to have a silicone 2" 90deg bend to small filter and swapped it for a 3" stainless 90deg bend to a huge K&N filter and flutter went from the quiet to a very loud, higher pitched DOOOOOO.

Just try different variations of intake pipe/filter and leave your intercooler alone for now
