    Hey all,

New user to the forum

I was hoping to gather a few opinions regarding a good platform to learn how to drift, taking into consideration my geographic location. (Kitchener, ON, Canada).

I have a budget of about 4-6K to buy a car AS-IS and before updates. I have done a bit of research and while I was at first inclined towards a 350z, the ones close to that price point seem to be the 03-04 DE's.

At the moment I am inclined towards a 330ci but was hoping to get some input on whether that's a good platform or whether there are other options I should consider in that price point.

Ideally I would like a car that I could also work on on my own, noting that I have limited experience working on cars, but am a hardware engineer by training and super motivated to learn.

Thanks in advance for any opinions you're willing to share! :worthy::worthy::worthy:
