Bit more done over the last few days, sorting out the brakes mainly. Got the Project Mu handbrake shoes back in and adjusted up,

    98118D07-E8A8-43F4-8964-B84AC1A2824D.

Brembo Calipers were looking pretty sorry for themselves, so took them off for clean-up, paint, new decals and new bleed screws,

    C2E10377-7B21-4D38-9947-DE826B43ABB6. 1A511901-63EB-4C12-AFDB-5E46D5E41CF9. 3C4C8C4D-5BE8-4880-81BB-1E11880A79F8.

    Cleaned up fairly well.

Another issue I wanted to address was how quiet the exhaust was, so I ordered up some stainless welding wire, chopped the scorpion rear muffler open, gutted it, welded it back up and polished it

    DFB3D3E0-EFB3-48D5-A559-A1732DCEED26. F2C5F904-AE28-4D65-A326-CB861A5FDD1C.

Louder, but not too loud :D

Been a busy old few weeks… So, I bought some second hand aero. Vertex style front and INGs style rear bumpers.

    C4B5584B-6477-4DC3-9430-1B4C90A9F0AA.

Have seen better days, but been repaired, strengthened and skimmed with filler. All i gotta do is test fit, prep and paint em up.

Got all the factory lights and brackets trimmed and bolted up

    65E3274C-B47C-4835-B30D-CA4A22DCD247.

    Test fitting..

    56FE5EE7-F693-4BBE-A996-C6457A907A13.
    189B5D1E-11F9-4B08-9903-CE6C457A2EF7.

Then managed to score some skirts (no idea what style)

    A1FD7BD7-1E1A-4198-A5F9-04D48FF0A86F.

Fitted a nice shiny Cusco strut brace,

    8CFA1745-8800-4294-B575-35A5EFC91149.

And started chopping out the rear brace, to weld in a smaller piece of tube steel that will double up as a harness bar, as well as giving me more space for loading wheels…

Been a busy few weeks with one thing or another, so the car had been put on hold.

Managed to source an ex-display Carbon Kevlar Bride seat from work and fitted it in place of the old Brix seat,

Brix was stripped and bolted to the original Nissan seat rail, even gutted the old seat for the heater element so it still works as the factory seat did.

    6.

Got it back home, as she now starts and drives, so Gaz at Cutloose Car Collection recovered it back for me, as i have no bumpers on currently.

    7.

Finished chopping out the rear brace, fitted the harness bar and seam welded the strut towers.

    1.

Fresh coat of seam sealer and paint, along with a quick tidy. All sorted in there now. Chuffed :D

    2.

Hitting the body kit currently. Taking back the old filler and skimming here n there.

Guide coat and final skim done on the front,

    5.

    Skirts drilled and test fitted,

    4.

had to get the front on and take a pic :D

    3.

Should be my last job to do now before we are ready to catch some skids again.

Front bumper and one of the skirts are now painted. Half way done.
Pretty happy with how it came out for a rattle can job.
