Spend some money and go to the underground restaurant opposite the cathedral.

Spend the rest of your money off the tourist areas getting hammered for less than a tenner.

Prague is awesome, and I would go again if i could.

Don't go to the Irish bar on the main strip, so expensive

I am from Prague. most of the places you guys named are just tourist traps, sadly. Overpriced and bad. There is so many great clubs and pubs, but you just need to know where to go.
Try not to get drawn into some shitty club or "cabaret" as they call it. Total rip off.
Be careful not to get mugged and I mean you stop paying attention for 10 secs and your trip is ruined by some gypo. Pick pocketing is massive issue in Prague and never leave your luggage unattended or you wont see it anymore. lol
Bet it sounds like horrible place now. haha. Just use common sense. I know many people that didnt listen to me.

If you have ant question or need help translating, drop me a pm

Thanks for the pictures dude, legend.

Any particular areas to go that aren't "tourist traps"?

I beg to differ... Top Gun Tours. Short drive from Prague (they came and picked us up)

I went for my 21st in the middle of summer 2007. Stayed in a hostel near the centre. Was amazing. Didn't mind going in the tourist bits tbh, loads of people around made it a good atmosphere
