Hi, could you please tell me what are all the engine upgrades are for a volvo 340 1.4 (i already have K&N filter) and could you also tell me if a ecu upgrade is worth it Thanks in advance
I think the renault 5 1.4 turbo drops straight in, two other options the renault 1.8/2.0 16v, the 16v dont fit the 1.4 subframe though so you need a few bits from a 1.7 persnoaly i wouldnt bother messing about with the ecu and stuff because the prop cant handle much power as its made of cheese
'Ello bud, have you tried a search? Lot's of stuff has been covered on engine upgrades/swaps for 340s. In regards for engine upgrades for the 1.4 there aren't many. A few have turbo charged them but they need a fair bit of work. I have a 340 1.4 swapped out for an F7R williams lump. Easy enough swap, everything bolts in!
