    I would like your opinions on this. Can it be dangerous ? In which occassions ? What about the rain ??? Does anyone have a daily driven car with a 2way diff ?

    (NOT welded, only aftermarket diffs such as cusco, nismo, kaaz etc)

    :dw:
    Thanks !

    there fine........ its goin to lock up a lot quicker than 1.5 or open diff but as long as your not driving hard it will be fine just realise if you downshift mid corner in the wet you will be sideways... or roundabouts ;)

    Driving with a 2 way is fine! I've been doing it for ages.
    Only thing I notice really is driving at low speeds around tight corners it WILL lock/ release all the time so you'll feel a shunting and probably tyre squeal, or skipping depending on the grip and torque your putting through the diff.
    Best thing to do is coast around slow corners with clutch in to stop it from locking.
    Also in wet low grip times it can be a little "lively" as it locks up QUICK! but thats just the fun of it... keeps ya on your toes =P
    Welded just munches tyres!
    Brad =)

    Sounds like you need an anal plug for everyday use instead.

    imo my cusco two-way is safer to drive fast than the open diff i had to use a few weeks ago.

    welded diff was fine as well :nod:

    I've driven for the past year with a two way in my daily, and haven't had any real problems. Driving downhill in the snow was interesting though. Also my diff never knocks, clunks, or bangs, and never causes me hassle while going around slow cornes, and while parking.

    Everyday use would be fine. Although with anything that aggressive it might wear quicker.

    My drifty cars are always my dailys and have always had either a welder, Kaaz 2way or nismo 2way.
    They are perfectly safe for daily use, just annoying while parking.

    Just dont go on attack on the roads and you will be fine. Dont go in to fast and downshift and pop the clutch just when you steer in the corner you will go more sideways with the 2way then without.
