    Colin was such an awesome driver, great car control, and he was a nice bloke too. I'd rather watch videos of him than Ken Block anyday.

    Those were the days... When rally drivers were heroes and machines weren't f*cking computers.

    Love the moment at 1:05 when Colin downshifts from 6th to 1st and makes a handbrake turn!

    Yeah, No sequential or paddle shift needed.

    Absolute legend!

    I have a nice Series McRea tucked away in the garage,
    Had it out on christmas Eve in the snow! :thumbs:

    Love the sound of the rallying impreza's, a road going one that made that kinda noise would be a dream :)

    Echoing what others have said, great video, great guy, great car.

    Ha no way! Dad had one a fair few years ago, plate was P555STE (As STI wasn't possible, substituted it for 'Engineering'). He loved that car until all the chavs and drug dealers round our way started getting WRXs.

    Interesting that the rally car in the video at first glance looks like a standard car with some stickers and alloys on, no lairy wide arches or huge wings and scoops.
